‘that beat’ is bounce music. Since the early 90’s the sissy bounce movement has been trying to bring the genre to a global audience and it’s all about celebrating bodies of all sizes through dance, whilst embracing the LGBT community.
In this episode, the LA-based director Abteen Bagheri exhibits the core of sissy bounce. Whilst featuring interviews and music with the most distinguished bounce artist within the genre, from Sissy Nobody, the late Nicky Da B, Diplo, and Big Freedia.
